Bill has more than 24 years of experience developing and commercializing innovative medical devices, including surgical instruments, diagnostics, and biomaterials.
Bill previously served as CEO of Check-Cap Ltd., a medical diagnostics company developing an ingestible capsule system for colorectal cancer screening. Prior to that, Bill served as CEO of Beacon Endoscopic, a venture-backed company he led to a successful acquisition by Covidien. Prior to Beacon Endoscopic, Bill held positions with BG Medicine Inc., Dune Medical Devices, Hologic, Boston Scientific, and Genzyme Biosurgery, Inc. Before embarking on his corporate career, Bill received a commission in the U.S. Navy and served four years as a Special Operations Officer. He completed the Tuck Executive Program at the Amos Tuck School of Business at Dartmouth and holds a BA in economics from Duke University.
