Sanj has over 18 years of leadership experience in the biotech and pharmaceutical life science industries and has executed several high-value asset and technology transactions, including four start-ups that led to private sale exits.
Before joining Temple Therapeutics, Sanj served as President and CEO of AdeTherapeutics, focusing on growth opportunities in hospitals, and specifically, in post-operative fibrosis management. While at AdeTherapeutics, he identified strategic commercial partnerships for late-stage Phase II/III development programs; oversaw management, financing, and supply chain; and assembled and led a team of experts and thought leaders, including key opinion leaders. He also expanded the company’s portfolio opportunities, identifying new assets for licensing and contributing to the issuance of new patents.
He serves as a member of the board of directors for BIOTECanada, Vice Chair of the Emerging Companies Advisory Board to BIOTECanada, and previously served on the Board of Directors and co-chaired the Health Opportunities Committeeat the Greater Saskatoon Chamber of Commerce. Sanj also served as Professor of Entrepreneurship and Technology Management at the University of Saskatchewan, where he was directly responsible for the MBA Biotechnology Management program and led the growth of the university’s entrepreneurship center that has spawned several highly-profitable start-ups. Sanj received his B.Com in corporate finance, marketing, and international business at the University of Saskatchewan and his MBA in biotechnology at the Edwards School of Business.
