Bill has more than 30 years of experience leading life science companies through the development and commercialization of innovative products. Bill served as President & CEO of Beacon Endoscopic, a venture-backed company he led to a successful acquisition by Covidien. He has served also as President & CEO of Pneuma Therapeutics, Check-Cap Ltd., and Dune Medical Devices. Throughout his career, Bill held senior management positions with BG Medicine, Hologic, Boston Scientific, and Genzyme. Before embarking on his corporate career, Bill received a commission in the U.S. Navy and served four years as a Special Operations Officer. He completed the Tuck Executive Program at the Amos Tuck School of Business at Dartmouth and holds a BA with honors in Economics from Duke University.
